We are all the Duluth Climbers Coalition
The Duluth Climbers Coalition is a nonprofit 501(c)3 advocacy organization made up of local Duluth climbers, outdoor recreation educators, and business owners. Our goal is to secure and preserve access to climbing crags located within the city of Duluth, and to promote quality climbing opportunities for participants of all ages and abilities and across all climbing disciplines (bouldering, rock, ice, and mixed climbing).
The DCC is administered by a diverse board of local representatives who advocate for climbers to city and county officials, other recreational user groups, businesses, foundations, and private landowners. The DCC board communicates and solicits input from the broader climbing community through our website, mailing list, social media, and special meetings and events. Committees include Access, Youth Outreach, Trails & Infrastructure, and Events.
Contact the DCC if you are interested in supporting Duluth climbing with a tax-deductible donation, serving on a DCC committee or volunteering for an event like trail building or a crag clean-up, to report access issues or concerns, or if you’re just looking for info or other resources about climbing in Duluth. With the ongoing development of Quarry Park there has never been a more exciting time to be an active participant in the Duluth Climbers Coalition, or to get out and climb!
Mission Statement:
Dedicated to preserving access to Duluth’s diverse climbing resources and promoting quality climbing opportunities for enthusiasts of all disciplines.
