Description of Area:

The newest crag to hit the Duluth scene, and it's a good one! With super easy access, problems of a wide ability range, and a beautiful setting in a forest filled with ferns and a trickling creek, this one ain't too shabby. With around 10 problems so far and room for several more, this is sure to be a good addition to the circuit of all of the other boulders in the very close proximity.

Directions/access to area:

From either up or down the hill, you will want to make your way to W 10th St., just West of Lincoln Park Drive. The most straight forward way is coming in on HWY 53 and you will have an exit for 10th off of it. Take that West for maybe a half mile and you'll see a little pull off for maybe 2-3 cars. Park there and you'll pass the trail crossing for the Duluth Traverse MTN bike trail. Go another 50 feet or so and you'll see a trail heading into the woods. Walk in the woods and head to the right pretty quickly, not up the hill. You will see the upper cliff band right away, with the lower below it. Have fun!

Click here to go to the Mountain Project page for this location. The Duluth Mountain Project pages could use some serious love via better pics, better descriptions, and general updates; so if you feel like helping inform everyone, a little time and effort would be much appreciated!
